FEBRUARY AT THE NATIONAL GALLERY OF IRELAND (Tá Leagan Gaeilge thios) Wednesdays in February POETRY Lunchtime poetry readings at 1:05pm, with Tony Curtis, Leanne O'Sullivan, Jessie Lendennie and Bernard O'Donoghue. Room 20. The talks are free and no pre-booking required, but arrive early.

Children's Mid-Term Break
Classes suitable for 5-10 year olds. Tickets 5 euro per class or 15 euro per family available from shop 6633518. 21 to 25 February at 3pm.There will also be a workshop for teenagers on portraits on Wednesday 23 at 3pm.

A number of interesting talks take place in the gallery this month.
On Tuesday 15th at 10:30am, Dr Marie Bourke will speak on the iconic image 'Madonna Irlanda' by the late Micheal Farrell.Admission free, Room 20.

ArtFocus Day Saturday 26 February, National Library Seminar Room.
A  seminar focussing on aspects of Irish portraiture. Speakers include Amanda Coogan and Robert Ballagh.

ART FOR ALL AGES As part of the series 'Art for all Ages', Jane Bowe will give a Life Drawing workshop on Wednesday 9 February at 3pm. Meet in Atrium. Free admission.
