Valleylodge Farm Hostel is just 30 minutes drive from Knock Airport, centrally located between the towns of Knock, Claremorris, Balla and Kaltimagh. Also convenience for Ballintubber Abbey, Casltebar, Westport and Achill.

The hostel is found in a renovated farm building situated in a peaceful valley and is on a real working farm. The farm is a traditional Irish mixed farm with goats, cattle, donkey, sheep, pigs and free range poultry.

The hostel is situated off the N60 Castlebar road 8 km from Claremorris town, 30 minutes drive from Knock Airport, 18 minutes from Knock Shrine, 30 minutes from Ballintubber Abbey, 40 minutes to Westport and 1 hour from Croack Patrick.

Other attractions include the Museum of Country Life Castlebar, Foxford Woollen Mills, Achill Island and Westport.

Own transport is essential, shops, pubs and restaurants located 8 km from the hostel in Claremorris.
