Our house nestles sheltered in a peaceful valley, surrounded by mature trees and a wild garden. The house is generously laid out, so you will find plenty of space inside and out to relax, play, read, barbecue, chat and enjoy the peat fire.
Within easy reach you can find beaches, cliffs, rivers and lakes. Enjoy a warm, bright and friendly atmosphere all year round.
The Hostel features comfortable private rooms, dormitories and family rooms. There is a fully equipped self catering kitchen, a spacious cosy common room, free hot showers, an open peat fire and WIFI.
We offer evening meals made from fresh local produce and breakfast.
The surrounding area has lots to offer from long sandy beaches and tall cliffs to great day trips like a guided boat tour to the Iniskea islands or a visit to the Ceide fields interpretive centre.
Other popular activities in the area include numerous loop walks, surfing, windsurfing, horse riding, diving and birdwatching.
We also offer special discounts for groups looking to block book the entire house. We can cater for groups on request and can arrange bus transfers for activities and sightseeing in the area.
The hostel is ideal for gatherings, workshops and weekends away.
In our village you will find a shop, a post office and 2 pubs within short walking distance.
ATM and bank services are available in Belmullet.
There is a local bus service to and from Ballina and Castlebar.
